Benjamin W. Johnson, CPA, is assistant professor of accounting at the University of Evansville. He earned his BS in Accounting from the University of Evansville and worked for a CPA firm upon graduation. | Dr. Johnson earned his MSM from Oakland City University, and earned his DBA from Anderson University. Ben has held a Certified Public Accountant license from the state of Indiana since 2003 and maintains a current tax practice. Dr. Johnson's current teaching responsibilities include Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and Federal Income Tax.

Mousa's Full Biography

Dr. Mousa is professor of accounting at the University of Evansville. She earned her PhD in Accounting from the University of Birmingham, UK (2010) and her BA in Accounting from the American University in Cairo, Egypt (2000). | She received an MBA degree from Illinois Institute of Technology (2002). Since 2002, Rania worked as a financial analyst in several financial services companies in Chicago (USA), Cairo (Egypt) and Kuwait. She also completed a number of short-term appointments at some universities in Egypt, achieving the level of assistant lecturer. While pursuing her PhD in the UK, Rania worked as a visiting accounting lecturer in Birmingham Business School (University of Birmingham). Dr. Mousa's main research interests include electronic government, electronic business and financial reporting, and the adoption and usage of Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL).

Megan Conapinski, CPA, is the Director of the Schroeder School of Business Office for Career Success. Megan joined the University in 2019 and has also served as a career coach in the Office for Career Success since 2021. Prior to joining the University, Megan worked in public accounting for 5 years and holds an active CPA license in Indiana. Megan earned her Bachelor of Science, cum laude, with a major in Accounting & Professional Services from the University of Southern Indiana in 2006. Megan is passionate about mentoring students and helping students reach their full potential.

Bayar's Full Biography

Omer Bayar is a Professor of Economics at the University of Evansville. Dr. Bayar received his B.A. in Management from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey and Ph.D. in Economics with concentrations in monetary economics, international economics, and applied econometrics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He held the Guthrie May Endowed Chair in Business from the Schroeder School of Business at the University of Evansville for 2017-2022. He is also the recipient of United Methodist Exemplary Teacher Award from the University of Evansville for 2015-2016, Class of 1961 Faculty Fellowship Award from the University of Evansville for 2014-2015, Dean’s Research Award from the Schroeder School of Business at the University of Evansville for 2020-2021 and 2014-2015, Dean’s Teaching Award from the Schroeder School of Business at the University of Evansville for 2015-2016 and 2012-2013, and J. Fred and Wilma A. Holly Fellowship from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for 2006-2010.

Khan's Full Biography

Walayet A. Khan is professor of finance at the University of Evansville. He received his PhD in finance from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Dr. Khan is an active research scholar and maintains a consistent record of scholarly work. | He has published papers in numerous finance journals and has presented papers at national and international conferences. Dr. Khan has served as consultant to many national and regional organizations, including the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, the Chicago Stock Exchange, Attain (Electronic Communications Network), Kaplan Schweser and locally the Signature School in Evansville. He is the recipient of several awards including 1996 outstanding teacher of the year (UE); 2006 and 2014 UE Global Scholar; and 2008, 2013, and 2018 outstanding researcher, Schroeder School of Business. Dr. Khan is involved in volunteer work for many organizations and reads on diverse topics in his leisure time. He works out and participates in sports regularly and is especially fond of racquetball, tennis, and swimming.

Yolanda Obaze, PhD, is the Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Evansville (UE), Indiana. Dr. Obaze obtained her two M.B.A. (Strategic Management and Marketing), and PhD degrees from the University of North Texas, Denton Texas.| Dr. Obaze also serves as the director of the Center of Supply Chain Management. Dr. Obaze teaches the core and elective Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) courses, oversees the operations of the Center, supervises the development and implementation of the LSCM program, and ensures the efficient running of the Center through cross-industry collaborations. Dr. Obaze played a major role in the launching and development of the LSCM program. Dr. Obaze currently serves as the academic advisor for the LSCM student club, Association of Supply Chain Management student chapter, Business Professional of America student chapter, and the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at UE. Dr. Obaze received the 2018 Dean Service Award. Dr. Obaze also serves on the board of the Evansville Association of the Blind and the Potter’s Wheel Ministries.

Dr. Obaze is passionate about her research in the Humanitarian Logistics field. Her doctoral research centered on the community-based context of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management. She continues her research by helping much of the community-based companies in the Evansville area. Dr. Obaze’ s research interests include social supply chain relationships, business logistics and service operations, complex systems, and humanitarian logistics and supply chain management. She has published in Transportation Journal, Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management Journal, International Journal of Voluntary and Nonprofit Organizations, International Journal of Logistics Systems and Management, and presented at the Conexus Indiana Industry Member Event, Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS), Production and Operations Management (POMS), South West Decision Sciences Institute (SWDSI), Decision Institute conferences (DSI), and Association of Collegiate Marketing Educators (ACME). Dr. Obaze received the 2019 Dean Research award in 2019, 2020 Global Scholar award, and the 2019 Annual Decision Sciences Institute Best Theoretical Paper Award for her work on Social Supply Chain Management.

Faith Fox, PhD is an assistant professor of logistics and supply chain management (LSCM) at the University of Evansville. Dr. Fox obtained her PhD from the University of South Alabama. Additionally, she is a certified logistics technician with the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council and holds a yellow belt in Six Sigma from the Tum School of Management. Beyond LSCM, Dr. Fox focuses her research on issues concerning business ethics including ethical leadership and personality.

Josh Fenton earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Shepard Broad School of Law at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2011 and his Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida in 2007. | Josh worked as an airline transport pilot from 2000 to 2007 and as a senior manager at a worldwide air carrier between 2005 and 2013. Josh started his own law firm in 2012 and continues to actively practice law, focusing primarily on business and aviation law. Josh also serves as a safety and compliance consultant to numerous aviation companies. His research interests include cryptography and cybersecurity and safety and human factors in the aerospace and nuclear power industries.

Dwyer's Full Biography

Dr. Dwyer earned her PhD in 1999 from Purdue University in organizational behavior and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University in 1985. | She passed the Certified Public Accountant exam in Illinois in 1987. Before graduate school, Dr. Dwyer worked for eight years at Amoco Corporation in Chicago (now BP) in various accounting positions. She teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, Decision Making, and Leadership. Dr. Dwyer’s research interests include leadership and organizational behavior pedagogy.

Dr. Fenton joined the UE faculty in 2015 as an Assistant Professor of Management. | She earned her PhD in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University (2015) and both her MBA (2010) and her BBA (2008) from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. She teaches courses in management, including Global Strategic Management, Competitive Dynamics, Managing Global Relationships, and International Business Strategy. Dr. Fenton’s research interests include mergers and acquisitions, interorganizational trust, and strategic leadership.

Montgomery's Full Biography

Rob Montgomery is professor emeritus of marketing at the University of Evansville where he has served on the faculty since 1998. Prior to UE, Rob was Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of North Carolina Pembroke for five years. | Rob received his DBA and MBA at Mississippi State University and his BSBA from the University of Southern Indiana. Rob has taught nearly every marketing course at one time or another. Currently, he teaches EMBA Global Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Personal Selling, Marketing Management, and Marketing Research. Rob's current research interests include The Hunting Consumer and Thrift Store Marketing. His research has appeared in the Journal of Marketing Management, Great Ideas for Teaching Marketing, International Journal of Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Marketing, The Sports Journal, Journal for Economics Educators, Journal of Ministry Marketing Management, Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing, The Academy of Marketing Studies Journal, and others.

Aaron Schibik is assistant professor of marketing at the University of Evansville. Aaron received his undergraduate degree in Economics and MBA from the University of Southern Indiana in 2015 and 2017, respectively. In 2021, Aaron received his PhD in Marketing from the University of North Texas. He teaches Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, and Consumer Behavior. His current research interests include vintage products, retro products, collectibles, and second-hand retail. His research has appeared in the European Journal of Marketing and The Journal of Services Marketing, with articles forthcoming in the Journal of Vacation Marketing and The Journal of Historical Research in Marketing.

Julie Frazier earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Ohio State University with a Major in Logistics and Operations Management and a Minor in International Business. She worked as a Logistics Analyst for USG Corporation. | Prior to that she worked as a radiation therapist at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. She earned a Bachelors in General Studies at Indiana University South Bend; an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology from USI; and a Certificate Degree in Radiation Therapy. She now teaches the introductory QM 160, Introduction to Data Analytics course while also maintaining the Assurance of Learning program for the Schroeder School of Business AACSB accreditation.
